“Fear is just another perspective of an author’s story. It is an emotion bound by the limitation of being too scared to go through life knowing what it’s like to be daring and great!”
HAVE YOU EVER REALIZED THAT FEAR ACTUALLY PARALYZES YOU?
Think about it for a second… When you’re suddenly scared by shock or someones idea of a prank, you freeze. Or how about when you’re about to make an important decision, but can’t go through with it because you’re worried about the outcome?
Fear constricts us in a way that is discomforting to the body and soul. It etches deep down into the very fiber of our DNA and almost forbids our soul to allow our body from taking that daring leap into the “unknown”. It fills us with a dead weight that renders an unapologetic result of us becoming nothing more than mediocre.
It’s like a writer who starts off with a great idea for a book and then decides to give up somewhere in middle because of his fear of scrutiny, the fear of whether publishers would buy into such intense conception or merely because he fears it’s going to be too much work.
What is fear really though?
Fear is just another perspective of an author’s story. It is an emotion bound by the limitation of being too scared to go through life knowing what it’s like to be daring and great!
Fear is that excuse you use when the idea of being complacent is enough for the time-being. Fear is the water to our internal combustion engine of eternal potential. Why would you want to put your beautiful fire out?
The question you need to ask yourself is: Am I afraid of people, experiences, and conditions around me or am I afraid of just being myself? Could you be afraid of stumbling and falling along the way? Why??? Babies fall all the time when they first start learning to walk, but they get right back up out of enthusiasm for the playfulness of life.
You don’t start preparing for your funeral because you’re stuck in bed from having the flu, do you? Nope, because in the back of your mind you know that with a little TLC and the right medication you’re gonna be on your feet in no time.
WE ARE SO OBSESSED with being perfect in an imperfect world that we forget we are all the same. What other people think of you doesn’t matter. What you think of YOU is the only opinion that should matter.
Sure, like a baby you might get down now and then, but just like life you shouldn’t stop moving. The opinions of those around you are just opinions for the things that either resonate or don’t resonate with them. What should really matter are the things that are important to you and how much fun you have doing them.
Be the change you want to see in YOUR world and enjoy the vastness of life. And next time someone says stop being a baby tell them you can’t… There’s simply no better way to live!
